Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and has worked in the health and behavioral health field for 20 years. Samantha opened Ability Health and Rehabilitation in 2016. Samantha is passionate and dedicated to providing quality, ethical, client-centered care to her community and has devoted her professional life to that endeavor. Outside of work Samantha spends her time with her husband, children and granddaughter. She enjoys working in her yard, woodworking and woodburning.

Tad’s role with Ability is to help with guiding and developing management as well as being a minority shareholder/owner. Outside of Ability he is a CDL driver and Samantha’s husband. Tad enjoys working in his yard, fishing, watching sports with his son and son in law, playing with his granddaughter and adventuring with Samantha.

I was born in Montana, and I drifted to Western Washington with my family for 5 years. In high school we again moved to Eastern Washington. I located to the Boise area for a new adventure with my family around 2016. I have a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, emphasis in English, Business, and History and a master’s in management and leadership. When I am not busy working or with family, I enjoy reading, genealogy research, and being online. I have been married for 20+ years to my husband. We have 2 daughters. We enjoy family game night, watching movies, camping, fishing, and going to church weekly. I am excited to be with Ability Health and see what the future brings.

Then decided to go back to school to get my associated to Collage of Western Idaho for Medical Administration. Now I am working on getting my bachelor's degree of Science of Medical Administration and then moving on to my master at Grand Canyon University. I enjoy spending time with my two older boys and my daughter. I love wood burning and crafting with my kids.

Jesse Cobb, LCSW has over 17 years of experience in Social Work across the Treasure Valley. Since graduating from Boise State in 2008, he has worked in Behavioral Health, integrated medical/psychiatric settings, has helped open two youth residential facilities, and now splits his time between hospice and outpatient services administration. He is passionate about helping colleagues, students and clients become the best versions of themselves.

Carrie Barriatua, LPC

Carrie is a local from Idaho, passionate about helping others. Carrie knew from a young age that she wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives in a positive manner, whether it be a sounding board or a collaborative effort. Carrie has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from GCU, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from GCU as well. Carrie has experience with various populations from youth, adults, and families. Carrie’s therapeutic approach is Person- Centered Therapy, CBT, among others.

Did his undergrad and Grad degrees at Northwest Nazarene University. Uses different approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Led Therapy, Play Therapy.
Enjoys spending time with his wife, children and extended family, sports, music, the outdoors. “I enjoy helping people and assisting in coping skills and working through struggles.”

An Idaho Native, passionate towards helping those in need whether it’s just an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or to run ideas by. I have always had a soft heart for those with barriers, struggles in and with life. Cliff has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boise State University, a Graduate degree in Conflict Management/Mediation from Boise State University, and Master of Science in Addiction/Substance Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Cliff has experience with a variety of populations from youth, adults, couples and families while utilizing person-centered therapy, CBT, MI, play therapy, client led therapy. Cliff enjoys spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, friends, sports, working in his shop or yard, music. “One is never alone in their journey, together we will make a difference.”

Jennifer Eason-Barnett, LCSW

Counselor
Jennifer S. Eason-Barnett, LCSW, has extensive experience working in the mental health field with a primary focus on children, youth, and families. Ms. Barnett spent early years of her career as a home-based therapist in Colorado and rural Michigan supporting youth and families at risk of removal from their community of choice or returning home from a higher level of care. After her work in Michigan, Ms. Barnett worked as a therapist in a residential facility for youth in Wyoming. In the capacity of a therapist, Ms. Barnett cemented her theoretical framework of attachment and relationship-based work. Ms. Barnett moved to Idaho in 2014 when she began to work for the Division of Behavioral Health in the Quality Assurance Unit as a program specialist and more recently on the YES project and subject matter expert as the Wraparound Program Lead. Ms. Barnett has been active on the YES project providing training, CANS and TCOM (Transformative Collaborative Outcome Management) Implementation, Person-Centered plans, System of Care Development, and implementation of Wraparound in the State of Idaho. She is a Clinical Supervisor with the State of Idaho, CANS certified and CANS SME certified.

Laura Mason, CPRP

CBRS/CM
Laura Mason grew up in the dairy town of Tillamook Oregon. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Sociology and minor in Dance. After graduation Laura worked for Alaska Airlines as a Supervisor of their Boise call center. She also supervised the training department and the ticket counter. She gained valuable experience in leading by example and demonstrating a positive attitude. She also enjoyed the benefits of traveling before marrying her husband, having two children, and leaving Alaska Airlines to run an on-line business from home.

In 2011 Laura became a CBRS/SC in Boise where she became a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner. Laura then joined Ability Health in May of 2017. She finds great pleasure in giving back to the community and helping those in need.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Chloe Cogan was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to McCall, Idaho when she was about 5 years old. She graduated from Boise State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in education. After graduation, Chloe bought a one-way ticket to London and spent the next year travelling Europe followed by almost three years living in Ireland. She had many jobs while travelling, but her favorite was working in Disability Support Services at the University College Cork. There, she was able to gain experience in working with individuals, trying to better themselves and was inspired to continue doing so. She moved back to Boise in January of 2020, where she eventually started her job as a CBRS worker/ Case Manager. Chloe loves giving back to the community she once again calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.

Hello, my name is Jeremy. I was raised in a military family for close to 18 years. I was born in Germany where I spent the next 8 years travelling all over Europe in between moving Stateside and there. After that we lived in Kansas, Hawaii, Maryland, and 3 other states. I then started a career in corrections where I spent the next 17 years working till, I had to medically retire. Though that I developed some mental health obstacles and became dependent on prescription pain medication. Through my recovery journey I found out who I was again. I want to share that experience with others so we can work together so you can live your most fulfilling life.

Elizabeth is a moderately skilled at ASL which she uses to connect with and support individuals in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. She enjoys creating meaningful connections and believes in meeting people where they are, offering hope through shared experience. Elizabeth remains dedicated to personal growth and strives to be a steady, uplifting presence in the lives of others.

I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work in direct patient care. I graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and nursing. I’ve spent many years working in oncology as a chemo infusion nurse but knew I wanted to come back to mental health. I graduated from Easter Kentucky University with a master’s in nursing specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My goal as a provider is to help my patients understand and reach their potential. I enjoy listening to my patients and learning about their lives. My greatest joy is seeing patients living their best lives.
I enjoy being outdoors with my 2 kids and husband. Road trips and eating good food are some of my favorite things.
